About Me
Lew Finkelstein is an Executive at VanRock Commercial Real Estate, bringing decades of experience and a proven track record across New Jersey’s retail real estate market. Known for his deep industry relationships and consistent deal execution, Lew provides clients with strategic insight across tenant representation, landlord representation, and investment sales.
Prior to joining VanRock, Lew spent 24 years at The Goldstein Group, where he rose through the ranks to Executive Vice President. During his tenure, he completed more than 800 transactions totaling over $1 billion in deal volume and earned multiple CoStar “Power Broker of the Year” awards, recognizing his sustained performance and leadership within the industry.
Lew specializes in retail real estate and has played a leading role in representing national and regional tenants throughout New Jersey. His experience includes exclusive and long-standing relationships with 7-Eleven and T-Mobile, as well as representation of Capital One Bank, Great Clips, Strauss Discount Auto, Verizon Wireless, and Retro Fitness. His work consistently focuses on strategic site selection, market analysis, and lease negotiation.
On the ownership side, Lew has represented institutional and private landlords such as Vornado Realty, Urban Edge, Maxim Enterprises, Urstadt Biddle Properties, Wasa Properties, PMG Petroleum, and Black Greek Group. He has also brokered numerous net-leased and investment sales for nationally recognized brands including TD Bank, Wawa, Chipotle, Aldi, Harbor Freight, ShopRite, and 7-Eleven, along with the sale of multiple shopping centers throughout New Jersey.
Before entering commercial real estate, Lew spent 25 years in the garment industry, building a domestic manufacturing business after graduating from Rider College. That entrepreneurial foundation continues to inform his disciplined, relationship-driven approach to brokerage.
