His comprehensive background spans retail property leasing, investment sales, property acquisitions and dispositions, construction management, land assemblage, and development—providing clients with a complete perspective on the commercial real estate lifecycle.

Before co-founding VanRock, CJ spent over 18 years with The Goldstein Group, a leading commercial real estate firm based in Paramus, New Jersey. His work included major shopping center leases, high-profile retail developments, and investment sales that reshaped key trade areas throughout the tri state regions.

Specializing in retail real estate, CJ has represented and negotiated on behalf of many of the nation’s most recognized brands. His experience includes site selection, market analysis and lease negotiations for retailers such as Walmart, ShopRite, CVS, Wawa, 7-Eleven, LA Fitness, Chipotle, Aldi, Harbor Freight, Chase Bank, PNC Bank, Barnes & Noble, Entenmann’s Bakery, Hästens, and numerous others. With deep market knowledge and long-standing industry relationships, CJ has been instrumental in matching retailers with high-performing locations, driving value for both tenants and landlords.

In addition to his transactional achievements, CJ is a graduate of Rutgers University and has completed studies at NYU’s Real Estate School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS). His expertise, reputation, and results-driven approach have positioned him as a trusted advisor to property owners, investors, and retailers throughout the tri-state area.
